MODEL DCCAM: It's fair. Not the greatest in a dim light area unless you have your fog lights on. Good in the well-lit area.

I use this camera every day for my commute. Most of the time that is in the dark. It does pretty well, but there is some glare when you are stopped in traffic and people with auto transmissions are stopped in front with their brake lights on... Some large road signs (eg. lane closure) also glare a lot (especially in the wet at night) overall it's pretty good. Basically the same as my eyes when I was in the car....

The camera will record at night, it does not have night vision.
