Not sure of the exact Bose model that you are referring, but i am using it with the Bose Acoustimass IV speaker system and it works like a charm.

I hooked up my non-self-amplified left and right rear surround speakers with the Rocketfish wireless system. It was very easy and worked instantly right from the start. The rear surround speakers have plenty of very clean power and I have noticed no interruptions or extraneous sounds or noises. The set up was a snap. I thought I was taking a certain chance with equipment with that low a price. But no. Absolutely no delay. I can't imagine how it would not work with any reasonably good equipment.
