The left side works fine, but the right side crackles, has interference, and will even make a strange tone that starts low and progressively gets higher. I have switched speaker wiring and tested the speakers. The speakers work fine.”

I had the same issue with mine. Just the left instead. I turned the transmitter and the receiver units both off for about a minute or so and it worked fine after that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like a potential ground problem... or a problem with the right channel amp. You can rule out the speakers as a potential issue by switching them to opposite channels and seeing if the noise continues on the same size.
