How do I open the mouse to insert the battery??? null

There is a seam across the top of the mouse, press on the back half of the mouse just behind the seam and slide backwards.

Push down and back on the part that says Verbatim. You can also put your thumbnail in the seam and push back on the part that says Verbatim.
