Yes. It says on the box you can capture old VHS, Beta , 8mm or camcorder tapes and convert to DVD and other digital formats.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The software will help you convert a VHS or Digital Tape to either a DVD or an .mp4 file. If you don't have a DVD player on your computer then you can't make a DVD. What you can do, however, is convert your media to a .mp4 and then upload it to any cloud storage (one drive, google drive, dropbox, etc) you like. There's really no need for a DVD unless you are concerned about having a backup to your cloud storage.

The USB capture device does not have a way to store footage on it. The Windows component will then allow you to burn to a DVD, if desired, but it would require that you have a physical DVD writer already connected to your computer. The Mac software does not contain any options for storing video to a DVD.
