Most models of viper alarm will have a aux button and you can have the place your getting it installed or yourself program it to open your trunk. For example, my alarm is a entry level model 3105V and I have it setup for a press and hold longer than a 1 to open my trunk. Also a fast press of the aux let’s you silently unlock or lock your vehicle without the horn or alarm chip go off.
