Viper offers several options in case you loose or damage your remote(s). First, most alarms come with 2 remotes anyway, second, there are severak other options from adding another remote, to keypads, to the newest cell phone app system that you can add to the alarm and activate / monitor the system from almost anywhere. All of these are available through the installation dept. at your Best Buy store. Good luck... -Chris
