Yes. This is a car alarm in addition to the keyless entry. I had mine installed on a Tacoma truck which had power locks (required) but just key entry. Works great so far.

Thus is not a remote start, it does not start the engine. This is only a car alarm with an automatic lock / unlock feature for the doors.
