How to connect the remote to the camera? null

Open the battery cover. Remove the thin plastic cover on the battery and reinstall the cover. It's all in the included manual btw. The remote operates via it's own frequency - not bluetooth or WiFi. Works very well at close distances.

No connection should be necessary to use the remote on the wristband, as long as the battery in the remote is good. The remote won't turn on the camera, however, -- the camera has to be powered on first, then the remote can start / stop video or take individual photos, or turn the camera power off. The signal isn't terribly strong, however, and you can block it with your body so the remote won't work even if the camera is close behind you.
