• Depends on you bookshelf speakers, but I find the sound to be better than I anticipated, maybe a little lower vilume overall, but I can seriously irritate my neighbor in the apt bldg...

• For me..the sound quality is good,but if you want more nice beat you might add subwoofer as well.i was planning to buy launchpad also so this i'm gonna use without the subwoofer

• Yes. Just hook up the ground to your receiver and the rca plugs to the soundbar.
