“Want to connect a vcr without hdmi...maybe also a dvd recorder without hdmi. Was told I need an adapter or composite to HDMI. I already have an hdmi to connect my spectrum dvr, so only room left for one more hdmi. Any help is appreciated.”

the inputs available are 2 HDMI, wire rf connector, single input each for composite and component. that means you will need an adapter that takes the red and white cables and fuses them into one cable for audio and another cable that fuses the 3 component colors into one cable for video. the wire connector will usually connect vcr or dvd recorder for playing but there is no output to record. all this makes it impractical to use this tv for your purposes.
