• The TV has a built in Chromecast and does not require any additional Chromecast equipment.

• I would absolutely 100% recommend buying the Chromecast dongle only because SmartCast does not let you install whatever application you want, you can only choose from their list: Hulu YouTube Netflix Prime Video (Amazon) Sony Crackle WatchFree (Vizio) Movies & TV (Vudu) iHeart Radio Xumo YouTube TV CBS News Live 24/7 NBC Fandango Now Redbox on Demand CBS All Access D A Z N Filmrise FF (That's all I see on the logo, I do not know what it stands for.) Flixfling Taste It Newsy HaystackTV Dove Channel CuriosityStream TG PlutoTV Music B ConTV Plex And if it's not on the list, you'd have to cast it over from your phone.
