“wondering if anyone else is having this issue when my sound bar is off and we’re watching TV when we change channels the sound bar turns itself on and links up to the TV. called Vizio they said maybe issue with the sound bar itself. Anyone have an answer?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your sound bar is connected via HDMI arc thats going to happen because it will try to be your main audio. Maybe if you don’t want to use your sound bar you should unplug it.

Please try again later.If its connected via fiber optic or hdmi arc, a signal can be transmitted from the TV to the system and cause the sound bar to turn on automatically. From turning the TV on to even changing a channel. It could be a communication error between the TV and the sound system. There may be nothing wrong with either one. Also, there may not be a way to fix it. If I were you, I would see if the system can be replaced with a new one and start there. Good luck.
