“The post for this says 5.1.2 but the videos show both the bar and rear speakers having upward firing speakers (5.1.4). Which is it? I had previously seen the 5.1.4 system sold on Amazon for $500 (now out of stock) and is the one I am looking to purchase.”

This model (SB36512-F6) is a 5.1.2 system and the surround speakers do not have upward firing height speakers. The next model up (SB46514-F6 ) is a 5.1.4 system that does have the upward firing speakers on its surround speakers.
