I had the same issue connecting it to my LG. When it would get turned off and back on it wouldn’t play audio. I’d have to physically unplug the soundbar and plug it back in for it to work. I got it exchanged and that fixed it for awhile but this one seems to be doing it also now. I’d look for a different model, not worth the headache.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have this issue with my new Sony Brevia 900h TV and the Vizio SB36512. It is annoying. I have tried not having the External Audio come on automatically but for some reason the Vizio sound bar comes on anyway. That way my wife would not have to deal with no sound and figure out what to do and I ould just turn the sound bar on when I wanted. I have told her to just unplug the sound bar and plug it back in but she gets annoyed with me say my old system did not have this problem. She wants me to return the sound bar but when it works it sounds great. I wish Vizio would fix this issue.
