• DD only. All others need to be passed as stereo otherwise no sound. :( I am surprised it doesn't play DD+, at least not from a local file. Although it does play DD from Netflix, which I thought was DD+.

• It should support all Dolby Digital formats up to 5.1. This unit does not support Atmos so it will not use those audio formats.
