The 100 zones works great, this tv is better than the tcl 6 series. P has 10 bit panel, wide color gamet 1000 nits of brightness and a 120hz native panel that beind said it also cost more than the 6 series. If any of those things matter to you spend the extra cash on the Vizio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 65" has 100 zones. The 55" has 56 zones. While this may seem drastic, consider this: the screen size of the 55" is roughly 40% less than the 65", so the ratio of screen size to zones is almost exactly correct at 100 to 56.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't say how it's compared to the TCL 6 but I have not noticed any picture issues. Sometimes with the local dimming zones if you have too few you may notice some areas around the object that is activating the dimming zone to also light up around that particular object a bit as well. This can be somewhat annoying if you like or need subtitles for example. However, with the P65-F1 I have not encountered any issues like this. It keeps the blacks black or dark and highlights objects bright areas well. I'm not sure if Vizio tweaked their FALD algorithm but it does look super crisp in picture quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found the picture quality to be outstanding. TCL 6 is also a good TV however there has been numerous reports of screen uniformity issues, it's basically a gamble if you'll get a good one or not. I am extremely happy with the P series.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ive owned both. I can safely say the vizio is worth the extra definetely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2018 model has less local dimming zones compared to the 2017 model. However the NITS has gone up a lot, from 600 NITS on the 2017 model to 1000 NITS on the 2018 model. Also input lag has been cut i half on the 2018 model which is great for gaming systems, 26ms if i remember right for 4k + HDR
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m coming from a plasma that had an awesome picture so I can’t compare this to other backlit TV’s. With that said, I find the flashlighting that occurs when a light object appears on a dark background to be ridiculous and really distracting.I regret purchasing this TV.
