“It worked great for 5 days. Now I have to repeatedly unplug and replug to get the smart part to work. I lose smart cast, premium channels and my PC is plugged in to the TV HDMI and it goes out as well. What is making my smart TV stupid?”

I'm not sure maybe it needs a firmware update or you just need to return the tv and get another one
