If you want to access your actual TV settings (sleep timer, display and audio settings, etc) then you HAVE to use your smartphone. I have a Logitech universal remote and tried to see if it would be able to access the main settings but it didn't work. There doesn't seem to be a way around it unfortunately. I will be returning my "TV" shortly to get a refund.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If Roku is connected to the TV, then yes, you can use both devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the Roku connected VIA HDMI and use the applications on the Roku and the universal remote will control basic functions such volume and power. To fine tune or adjust settings you would need to use the SmartCast App on the display.
