“Does the Google Cast, cast 4k when streaming? I've read chromecast is coming out with a 4K device... I ask this bc I want to cast 4K but realize everything needs to be right to be able to watch 4K.”

Makes sense, I'm guess casting directly to built in Google cast will give you 4K, Casting to regular plugged in chromecast will be 1080p correct? Until you buy 4K chromecast and 4K hdmi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently recorded a video with my HTC 10 cell phone and set it to 4K resolution. Once I played back my 4K video on my cell phone I tapped the cast icon on my screen and it immediately casted my video onto my 70 inch Vizio chrome cast television in 4K resolution. I haven't tried to cast anything else in 4K to my television except my 4K cell phone videos. I hope this helps answer your question.
