There are only a few devices that handle prime 4K. Check amazon's page about the requirements for streaming 4K. In my experience, even with a second generation fire TV that supports 4K and a 150mbps FiOS line, it rarely actually switches over to 4K quality. YMMV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Xbox is unable to stream any 4K content at this time. The new model Microsoft is releasing soon will have that capability. Yes, you'll need to find another 4K capable device to stream Amazon. Unfortunately Google and Amazon seem to be in some type of freud. Hopefully soon they'll work their issues out and we'll have Amazon 4K content available directly from the Vizio.

Google which teamed up with Vizio for this TV (that is awesome for the price) and Google is in direct competition with Amazon as far as streaming media, so they aren't including Prime streaming on the system. IMHO, the P series shot it's self in the foot as far as this goes, but the pros outweigh the cons.
