From my understanding no. It's just a basic android tablet. I installed Vizio cast on my iPhone and can use it that easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't have to use the tablet. The Vizio Smart Cast app comes in both Android and iOS versions. You'll get the same streaming functionality, using your phone or another tablet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so, since the lower end Vizio sets coming out a little later in 2016 use the same technology and don't include a tablet. There's definitely not anything that's exclusive to the tablet since it is a stock Android device and Smart Cast is on both the Google Play store and iOS App Store.
