Its not good. It also degrades very quickly. If you do alot of iff angle the 55 has a panel designed for off angle viewing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Everyone is different when it's comes to acceptable viewing angles.. in my experience I have not seen this as an issue . But I'm single and this is a part of my bedroom entertainment center.. my viewing angle is from the lay down position about 14 feet from the tube!! I have purposely sat at different angles in my room just to see..and it was not so much the picture quality to me, as it was the general awkwardness of trying to assimilate and process the action on screen while everything seemed tilted and strange.. so it was not the lack of a quality pictures for me. It was just uncomfortable at certain angles and therefore not fun to watch...imo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The viewing angle on LCD TVs are generally not good so I would not say this unit is any better or worse than a typical LCD. The 55 inch model however uses an IPS panel, which has much better viewing angles. The downside is that black levels on the IPS panel will not be nearly as good as the VA panel used on the other screen sizes on this model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Off axis viewing is not the best and degrades once you go to far off in either direction
