The short answer is, they can't. Surround sound systems are designed to play 5.1 audio. The 5 represents 5 separate channels ( left front, center front, right front, right rear, and left rear). The show you're watching will have the audio intended for each channel encoded in the show itself. The sound bar is not capable of re-writing the audio signal to send audio meant for the front speakers through the rear speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try turning on the truesound feature. It seems to boost the levels of all speakers. I think it adds a compressor so low sounds are boosted and loud sounds are suppressed. Just easier to hear all around I found. Don't quote me. Try for yourself.
