Unfortunately the satellites are not wireless, they come with a really long cable that plugs into the subwoofer. The subwoofer is wireless with the central sounds bar. I originally bought it thinking the same thing, but the sound from the sound system is well worth it!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by the SIDE speakers being Wireless. The left and right rear surround sound speakers are wired to the subwoofer which is connected WIRELESSLY to the soundbar. Set up the Soundbar above or below the television in the front of the room and then in the back of the room, You would have to plug in the subwoofer to an electrical outlet and then run the surround sound speakers from the subwoofer itself.
