No, this sound bar will not pass 4K.

Your TV can turn it on when powered up via HDMI ARC but not vice versa. And 4K is an visual measurement of lines of resolution so it doesn’t apply to sound in any way. I know it can wrangle Dolby Digital signals but not the upper end Dolby codecs like Atmos. Best.
