• You can go up to a maximum of 30ft.

• Answering my own question... Mine didn't connect right away at the distance I wanted which was approx 15 feet away so I put it within 6 feet to get it paired and then moved it to 15 feet and it is working fine. I don't know if it will go farther than that but 15 feet is working for me.
