“Does anyone use this to watch redbox dvd's? When I watch redbox dvd's the voice's are very low and the sound effects are nice and loud. So I always have to turn the volume way up to listen to a conversation. Will this help with my problem?”

Check your settings to see if it is set up for Cinema, Voice, etc. I keep mine on CInema with no issues.
