• If your TV has an HDMI port that supports ARC (Which is normally marked if it does) then yes. The TV remote is all you need.

• If you have a Vizio T.V. it is able to be powered on with the TV.

• Mine turns on and off when you turn your TV on and off. It DOES take a few seconds to turn on after you turn your TV on and I noticed that if you try to turn the volume up before the sound bar turns on, you are in fact turning your TV volume up and not the sound bar volume. So wait for the sound bar to turn on before turning the volume up.

• If you connect HDMI ARC cable it will turn off and on with the TV remote. You would still have to physically push the button on the subwoofer to power it back on each time which can be a pain if you have the sub behind sofas and end tables.
