Please try again later.I have it on the floor by my sofa pretty much below a table. it is Bluetooth so it should be fine but you do gets quite a bit of sound out of that woofer so you probably want to leave it exposed. I'm very pleased with the sound from the sound bar I had an LG before and it was okay but the woofer makes a big difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This not an IR connection. The sub-woofer does NOT need to be in the line of sight of the soundbar. When I turn on my TV, my soundbar instantly connects and the sub-woofer behind my couch also connects as well.
