“If I pre-program phone numbers to coincide with the pictures, what happens if the phone is unplugged or the power goes out? Will all of the numbers need to be pre-programmed again or is there a battery that helps the phone save that information?”

There is a battery but I don’t know how long that battery lasts. One of the reasons I bought this phone for my mom is because it will still work if the power goes out. She is partially blind, can’t hear, and can’t remember how to use her cell phone. This phone has been great.
