• Dave - The VTech SN5147 is not capable of requiring for the number 1 to be pressed when receiving an incoming call. However, when answering a call on the cordless handset, the Talk/Flash button has to be pressed. The call will connect right away when answered on the telephone base by picking up the corded handset.
