• Hi - You can use the cordless handset of the VTech SN5147 to store numbers in the speed dial locations on the telephone base. 1. Press Menu/Select button on the cordless handset. 2. Press the arrow down to scroll to Direct memory, then press Menu/Select. 3. Press the arrow down to scroll through M1-M8, then press Menu/Select twice. 4. Use the dial keypad to enter the phone number, then press Menu/Select. 5. Use the dial keypad to enter the name, then press the Menu/Select to save the entry. Hope this helps!
