“I have the 2 cam unit. Do the cameras charge so they can be used without being pluged in or do they always have to be plugged in to work. I'm using wifi and the 1 not plugged is not working. Do I need to buy another camera adaper cable to use 2nd camera”

• Hi - The baby units of the VTech RM5764-2HD does not have a battery back up mode. They have to be plugged in to AC power at all times to function. Thank you, -VTech Support
