I am standing outside my baby’s door and still get the below picture. I don’t understand all the good reviews on this monitor... it loses signal every night around the same time and starts beeping. My baby’s room is not even far from mine. Every time I turn it on I need to stand right next to the camera base for it to actually pick up a signal. I downloaded the WiFi version to my phone and it sounds like there is a bird flapping in it so that’s useless. The only positive things I will say is the camera quality is decent and the battery lasts longer than others. I purchased a no name baby monitor off Amazon 4 years ago for 50$ that was so much better. Too bad they don’t make those anymore. This isn’t worth the money in my opinion.

Awful product. It was great when it was working, but that was for two weeks. It stopped connecting and then was unable to pair. Tech support doesn't answer the phone for vtech so you are stuck in an endless loop of emails. I would not recommend this as you are left without a baby monitor while you attempt to get it resolved via email to New Zealand. Absolute junk.

Good baby monitor with a bright clear screen. Picture quality is excellent, especially over wifi. Battery life for the monitor isnt great, however. Range is good.

Solid product with some small flaws. The monitor reacts slow while moving the camera and sometimes freezes. The audio and video quality are solid and the monitor range has been great. We've even used the baby monitor while in the back yard and the connection still holds up.
Overall solid produce.

Was gonna say 4 stars because they have a USB-C charging port that requires their proprietary charger, but I don't know if most people will care. VTech, just use a barrel connector if it isn't USB-C, don't give me false hope.
The camera and the monitor work great. Nice HD picture. Good night vision. You need to have a reliable 2.4Ghz WiFi network. If you have a ton of interference from neighbors WiFi, Bluetooth, or other 2.4GHz radios, stay close to the AP or add one.
If both the app and monitor are connected at the same time, it drops to 720p. Not a huge deal, just surprising.
Bought to replace the second Infant Optics in three years. Here's hoping VTech is built better.

Although we were going to spend less or just get a regular WiFi camera. I’m so glad we got this one. The ability to move the camera to look around the room is amazing for when we moved our little one out of his crib! I would buy this again in a heart beat! The camera works amazing on both the monitor and app on my phone! N

It’s got great picture quality with a nice size parent unit. However, the app is glitchy and annoying. The only other negative is this annoying clicking sound on the camera as it adjusts to the light in the room.

Good picture quality even in night vision. It does lose signal from time to time but the one thing that is the most annoying it the sound or motion alarms. Receive a bunch of them only to watch the video and see and hear nothing on the recording.. outside of that pretty solid so far.

It’s almost perfect ! The only thing I hate is that if something goes wrong with your monitor you HAVE to buy a whole new set. And you cannot pair the camera with another monitor even if it’s the same exact one.

Love that you can choose between the parent unit and the phone app. However, the battery life on the parent unit is the worst I've ever seen. It has to be charged twice during the day and we keep it plugged in by the bed overnight or it would never make it. The picture quality is pretty good, but the temperature sensor isn't very accurate - seems to run high. Haven't had any issues with the app so far, but it isn't super intuitive and some of the options are not explained and we still haven't quite figured out how they work. You can pan the camera around using the app, which is great. Note: to have more than one device looking at one camera you have to be signed in to the same account - this is explained nowhere.

This product gets the job done.
It has a good screen size, picks up audio nicely (every sound your baby makes), and my partner and I are really satisfied with its online app. Good buy.
*Note: the battery on the screen does run out fast. You'll have to connect it constantly.

Worked great for what we wanted. Mounting was easy, even traveled to three states with it. After almost two years the antenna started to break so the GSP is a life saver.

I like it. The picture is clear. The sound is good. There are just a few things I don’t like. One, sometimes when you turn it on it tries to tell you you’re not in range of the camera. Even if your right outside the door. Two, the camera itself has to be plugged in at all times to work. It’s not wireless and has no wireless capability. Three, the battery life is two hours, maybe. So if you plan to be anywhere for any extended period of time, like outside or taking a bath, whatever floats your boat, keep the charger and an outlet ready, you’ll need it.

I think this baby monitor is okay. It shows my baby clearly (even at night), I get the movement and sound notifications, yadda yadda. And I like that you can use your phone as a parent monitor, take pics, manually record video and even have the camera record any movement it catches. My only gripe so far is that the parent monitor this camera comes with has a very crappy batter life. It won't last a full night on a single charge. You'd have to stay close to a charger because you will need it. I spend more time charging this thing that using it wirelessly. Kinda defeats the purpose. But because this whole thing is cheap and has the other perks, I'm keeping it.

This baby monitor had been fantastic. The camera offers HD quality and night vision mode. The screen provides a clear picture and the wide view of the camera covers almost our baby's entire room. I like that you can connect to the monitor via internet so I can watch our baby on my phone even if I am at work and my wife is at home.
