• Dave - If the cordless handset of the VTech CS5129-26 is already on an active call, the answering system will no longer answer call waiting. You may subscribe to Voicemail service with your telephone service provider but make sure that the number of rings of the Voicemail service is longer than that of the built-in answering system.
