“Hello i wanted to know the range of this device. i am interested to know if i can carry the parent device with me outside and still be able to see/hear my mom when she's sleeping. does the parent device have to be plugged in to stay on all night?”

It’s a great device. The only withdrawal that we have an issue is the battery life on portable device. The range on the portable device is pretty as long you have good WiFi at home you should be able to take it outside. It needs to be plugged to charge every few hours.
