Q: QuestionCan you possibly provide a link for the type of second camera that would work with this? I have two rooms that need to be monitored.

Q: QuestionHow many smartphones can connect to this camera? Our baby needs to be watched by mama's phone, dad's phone, and grandparent's phones. If one of us isn't available to check the camera at a given time then how many other phones can be used 2 check remotely?

• A:Answer Randy - It is possible to access and view your camera using several devices. However, as each camera only supports one account, you will need to use the same login details (username and password) to login on each additional smart device to view the camera. It is not possible to create multiple accounts to access the same one camera. You can access your camera on up to 4 devices at the same time, if all devices are connected to the same home Wi-Fi network. If you are viewing your camera remotely (when the smart devices are on a different network than the camera), you can have up to 10 devices connected at the same time. Thank you, -VTech Support

Q: QuestionWhy is my parent unit not connecting to the monitor? This is the second one I have bought. It finds the camera and tries to connect but won’t. It’s says no camera link. I tried resetting them and it still doesn’t work. Very frustrated Mama.

Other equipment can interfere with the use of your baby monitor, try placing the parent unit at least 3 feet away from WiFi devices, including laptops, smartphones, router, tablets and other WiFi streaming devices. You can also try moving the parent or baby unit around to find a location with better reception. Q: QuestionDoes the camera tilt down? Our monitor needs to set on the dresser, which is taller than the crib, to see down into it.

• A:Answer I'm not sure why the other person said the camera doesn't tilt down bc they are wrong, it tilts down or up or you can angle it from side to side.

• A:Answer Yes, it will. I do have better luck using my tablet at work, as we have had problems with the camera disconnecting from our phones. This might be because our internet is sketchy at times now, but I have not had that problem with my tablet, and do access the camera from work.

Q: QuestionI connected this to the WiFi and tried to disconnect it from the WiFi. Now the parent monitor say it’s not connected to WiFi but the camera shows it’s connected to WiFi. I have tried resetting it and repairing it and it still shows it’s connected help!

Wait for 15 seconds before turning it on, then test the unit again. Q: QuestionI am having problems trying to setup the camera system using a public WiFi in a hospital setting where we cannot control the router settings. Also tried configure the system using a hotspot and continue to succeed in configuring the camera.

Most routers are dual band which also operates on a 2.4ghz band.
