• Hi - You will not hear the actual sound if the MyVTech Baby 1080p app is not in use or is running in the background. Instead, you will get a notification once a sound is detected. Please make sure that the notification alert for the MyVTech Baby 1080p app on your mobile phone is turned on. Thank You! - VTech Support
