“Has this filter model been changed or modified to fit newer refrigerators? I have purchased this Samsung filter model through Best Buy before...this one that I recently purchased is not exactly the same...the old one has a smaller hole...whereas this one has a slightly larger one....when I installed this one, the water is not filtering through it...What exact filter should I buy for my Samsung Fridge Model RS265TDBP(purchased through Best Buy July 2011)...this filter model is the only Samsung one offered through Best Buy...the off brand one did not work either....do i need to order directly from Samsung?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Heidi, The HAF-CIN filter is the correct replacement cartridge for your RS265TDBP Refrigerator. It's normal for the cartridges to undergo some design modifications on occasion. Please try pressing the dispenser paddle for several seconds after installing the new filter to give it time for air to flush through the lines, and make sure the water supply valve is turned on. If water still doesn't dispense, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine the appropriate course of action to resolve the issue. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
