• Yes, this is specifically made to be used for Xbox One consoles. I'm using mine on my Xbox One X and have had no problems or issues

• Yes it works on the X and S but you cant play X/S games that are installed on it. X/S games are required to be on internal storage only now because microsoft wants your money and for you to buy the overpriced $200 1TB storage exspansion that CAN play X/S games
