Hi MRLaptop, WD Blue SSDs are available in either a 2.5”/7mm cased or an M.2 2280 model to evolve with smaller and thinner computers. It'll work fine for your laptop. If you have a 1TB spinning drive in it, you'll need to migrate the data with a USB to SATA adapter. You would also be swapping the existing drive. If it has the M.2 SSD, you'll be good to throw this in and format it in disk manager.
