Will this work in my Dell Inspiron 620 null

The Western Digital Mainstream 1TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Desktops is a SATA drive. So, yes, it will work in the Dell Inspiron 620 mid-tower PC. This same drive will also work in the mid-tower Inspiron 620s and mini-tower Inspiron 620s.

For expanding storage, yes but only if you have the Inspiron 620 desktop or MT (mini tower). In other words, if your I-620 is the slim style chassis (SFF), it won't work as extra storage because it only has one SATA bay for storage. Which means you'll have to save your important files, remove the old hard drive, install this one, and re-install Windows again.
