For gaming I always stick to the black models. Hard drive latency seems to be lower on the blacks. The blues are great for storage. Will the blue be able to play games? Yes. Will it perform as well as the black? No. These days if you're going to game, I highly suggest looking into solid state drives.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will make very little difference when it comes to spinning disk if you want the best performance for gaming I would go with an SSD drive much better performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this a few weeks back and have been using it mainly for gaming as my other hard drive broke. The performance is fine and stuff loads decently fast. If you truly want to get the best performance for gaming, you should definitely look into getting an SSD but just for a normal hard drive this will do the job fine. Good brand and size for the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not use this drive for a high end gaming or competitive gaming. Look into a good solid state drive for the best performance.
