• The PS5 needs pcie gen 4 specifically and this drive is gen 3. Even the gen 4 has to rated a certain speed, a good cheap option is a crucial drive. Samsung 980 Pro and WD Black 850 are great choices, I use the Samsung 980 in my PS5 and it runs perfect. You can catch them on sale all the time. The Xbox’s require their own proprietary drive that can be bought at Best Buy or other places.
