• You should be able to. You will plug it in to the USB port and it may install a driver automatically. Then you can open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer; this is the little yellow folder). Drag your pics and files or copy the same and paste into the hard drive. Hope this works for you.

• Yes. As long as you open file, run the program designated by your computer (mac or windows), and use zip files to keep things organize, you will still have lots of space.
