This has the WD white drives, not red. They are the helium filled variety, but do sometimes need a pin covered or adapter used to work in a PC outside the enclosure.
It is a "White Labeled" drive, but it is the same drive as a WD Red. If you are using this HDD out of the enclosure, be sure to isolate Pin 3 on the power connector, they're are some videos on youtube on how this is accomplished.
White label "reds" ;)
Mine was a "white" drive.
I have heard it has a white label drive, which can be a Red drive. It's the luck of the draw.
