“32GB Thumb Drive came with WD 10TB drive. Open thumb drive and got message to "insert disc into USB Drive D:" (formerly DVD drive which became E:). Ejected/rebooted, but still shows as "USB Drive D:", with no files and will not remove. Any ideas?”

• Reformat it using default settings and it then should show up as a USB drive, not a disk with a removable disk (floppy drive).

• I would try different usb port and another pc. If same problem exist means defective flash drive.

• I WOULD TRY REFORMATTING THE FLASH DRIVE . THIS ERASES EVERYTHING ON THE FLASH DRIVE.

• If this is the only drive this happens to try reformatting it either in another port or another machine. If not it sounds like you may have some command line time in store
