Probably best way is to transfer to Mac book then connect WD to Mac book USB port and copy over that way. Unless your camcorder has USB slots on it accessible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to connect your Panasonic device to your MacBook Air, I cannot tell you what cable to use as you do not have any detail information on the particular Panasonic device. Once the Panasonic is 'detected' by the Mac, it is just a matter of accessing the Panasonic 'drive' and transfering the data onto the external drive (providing the external drive is already connected and detected by the Mac computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to plug a cord from your camcorder to a USB on your computer. I don't know if WD will allow you to back up directly from there but if not, you would at least be able to move the files to the computer and then to the WD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will have to ensure Time Machine is set up, then proceed to reformat the drive for MAC OS to get the Mac system to properly recognize the drive as something it can use and make useful for you.
