• Yes, this is just like a thumbdrive or really even the hard drive in your computer, just connected externally. You can write to and from the drive and delete as you wish. Always remember that when you delete the file from any drive (internal or external) the data is not erased, but just ignored. There are ways to do it where the file can never be retrieved, but that's another issue.

• Yes. Files can be added or deleted. The device just need to be hooked up to a computer and it acts as additional storage. Delete files the same way you would on your pc or Mac.
